Oven will not light off. Stove top works fine. Tried to light oven manually and able to light gas with a match but it only stays lit for about a minute.

Any ideas ?

Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. New here, and I think its a gret site. I am pretty good at fixing things. Just need an idea of wich part to replace. The glow plug gets red hot but still no light off.

Hello,
The PG ranges have spark ignitors, not glowbars for the bake burner. Is this a newer unit, i.e. a PRGXXXE, or an older unit, i.e. PRGXXXUS. These both have glow bars, though they are light years apart in the way in which they operate.

Please confirn the model number and I'll see what I can think of.
