Have a 5 year old Whirlpool Quiet Partner ll Dishwasher that seems to run, goes through the cycles but the top rack isn't always getting clean anymore. It doesn't seem to depend on how much or how little the bottom rack has in it. The arm is rotating, pumps are running, fills and drains, same dishwasher soap. Could impeller need to be replaced?

I have the exact same problem with my kitchenaid 5 years old dishwasher.

My top rack doesn't even get wet, which shows me that the upper arm is not spraying water at all.

Not sure is this just a little part replacement or what to look.
