My WFM 1001 front loader has the finished, spin, and wash lights flashing. The door locked light does lnot illuminate with door securely closed. Owner's manual says nothing about this condition. My laundry is piling up. Any ideas?

It sounds like you might have had a door lock problem. The lights that you say are flashing is a fault code for a bad door lock. Lets try this first. Make sure dial is switched to off. Unplug your machine, then plug it back in. Hold down the rinse and delay buttons with one hand. With the other hand, switch the dial from off to cold or warm or whatever cycle you want. All the buttons flash a few times, then just the start button flashes. If you get the washer running, you might want to go ahead and replace the door lock switch. Hope this helps.

While wailting for a reply, I pulled the control panel off, and there was a sheet with trouble codes. My flashing lights were for an overheated door lock coil. I put it back together, turned it on for five minutes and it resolved itself. It works fine. Thank-you for the reply. If it happens again, I will need to get a new coil for the door lock.

That is correct. Glad we could help. If you need the part, we sell it. Thanks again.
