OK...I have been giving this thing my all but seem to be coming up empty. I need to replace the dogs in my washing since the top part seems to be skipping. I have removed the cap and seem to see have an additional cap that covers the agitator bolt. There is a square opening with a shiny thing in the bottom (which I am assuming is the bolt). But how in the world do I get to this bolt. I have tried to insert a socket and hold the agitator while turing counter colckwise but it seems to be really stuck. I have tried to turn with a pair if needle nose but the plastic seems to be getting messed up. Please help.

The square opening is a sorta bolt. You will need to use a 1/2" socket drive with an extender. I have also been successful jamming a big flat blade screw driver in there, but I recommend the socket method.
