My GE profile side by side stopped freezing and cooling. I can hear a fan running contiuously that stps when I open either side door, and starts when the door is closed. Is there a way to check the condensor or the starter? What is the 'PTCR' in the ge expoded parts view?

I read your problem and I just solved it in my GE Profile.
I checked motherboard and it has one relay connection loose. Looks like there was some electric short (found one light bulb in freezer compartment broken) that melted a solder connection. I solder back this connection and fridge is working. I was ready to purchase new motherboard but I gave it with a try with new solder and it worked.

Thanks for the reply. I found a 'burnt spot' on the motherboard. Replaced it (took about 20 minutes including cleaning ) and it works fine now.
