I can hear a fan running contiuously that stps when I open either side door, and starts when the door is closed. Is there a way to check the condensor or the starter? What is the 'PTCR' in the ge expoded parts view?

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 2/9/2011(UTC) Posts: 1		I read your problem and I just solved it in my GE Profile. I checked motherboard and it has one relay connection loose. Looks like there was some electric short (found one light bulb in freezer compartment broken) that melted a solder connection. I solder back this connection and fridge is working. I was ready to purchase new motherboard but I gave it with a try with new solder and it worked.
