I have a 30-35 year old Whirlpool Mark I refrigerator/freezer, model: EAT19PTYRO, which has worked flawlessly all this time. It finally stopped working and I determined it to be the compressor start relay. No parts distributor shows a replacement relay for this old model or even a part number to use as a cross reference. I was asked to get the part number off the old relay, but it does not have any identifiers on it due to its age and cleaning over the years. I don't want to use a 3 in 1 hard start kit on it after many reports that they can do more harm than good. Can anyone direct me to a replacement start relay for this old model or at least the original part number? Any help would be great.
