A faulty high limit thermostat (#20 on the diagram) can be the culprit. Especially if the vents are clean and the flame is good. - The high limit thermostat Part number: AP4045507

replaced hi-temp. thermo.unit seeme to be cycling fine.On time dry it reaches 60celsius then drops to about 54-55cel.then kicks on again.does this sound good?also should there be continuity when testing across the thermister?when i check ohms it reads 16k at room temp(60-65)F....

The temperature seems to be good. The thermistor normal resistance reading shroud be about 10 Kohms @ 77°F.
