I have an Older Thin Twin and the dryer stopped heating. I would like to try to fix myself but can't seem to locate any serial or model numbers. Please help!

The model number should be on the dryer door frame, under the washer lid or on top of the dryer.

Thank you for the assistance in finding the model number.
I have tried to look up parts and schematics for my thin twin but having trouble. Model # LTE5243DZ1
Where is the heating element located? Do I need to open the back of the unit?
If at all possible to help or send me a link where I can find how to locate and check necessary parts for proper repair.

thanking you again in advance
