Hi!

My wife informed me tonight (I am working out of town) that her Whirlpool Built-In Double Oven is nearly unresponsive. There is power on the appliance. The interior lights functions, and there is a confirming beep after pressing a button on the display, but those are the extents of it capabilities. The display is completely dead, and even if she follows the sequence of buttons to start the oven, is doesn't function. I have found the schematic on this site, and the available parts. The two suspect parts to me, would be th AP3595759 and the AP3598617, listed as "Electronic clock control board" and "Cntrl-elec," Are these symptoms enough to diagnose a particular part? (I would like to order the part before I return home in several weeks.) If not, what would the be the determining factor in pinpointing the part?

Thanks for the help, and nice forum!

JaredB, we just had the exact same problem. Did you ever find out what parts were needed to fix this problem?
