Hello, Feb 4 /11
My Stove door will not open, I pressed the self clean button yesterday to clean my stove, and 2hrs later the stove began beeping and flashing 2 codes at me F1 and F3. I waited 10hrs to see if it would go threw the cycle and finish but the door will not open. I've unplugged the stove for several minutes and plugged back in. Nothing, the Stove has the same codes appear F1 And F3 and the stove door will not open. I have it unplugged as it still beeps periodically with the codes. Please can you recommend somthing else I can try.
Thanks Rochelle:)

Rochelle,

The instructions on how to open the oven door are attached to the reply.

Remove the rear cover for the control panel. Locate the 5 pin connector on the control board. Unplug it and check the resistance between the two wires connected to the pins #4 & #5. The normal reading should be about 1100 Ohms at the room temperature.

If the reading is wrong, replace the oven sensor (#5 on the diagram).

If the reading is correct, replace the control board.

- The oven sensor Part number: AP4009456
Part number: AP4009456

- The control board Part number: AP4008559
Part number: AP4008559

You are welcome Rochelle.

As far as I know APP does not ship parts outside of US. The only way is if you know anybody in US who can place the order for you and then ship it to you.
