What would cause the chopper to clog once a week. I have to clean the chopper weekly or the top rack won't clean.

The listed model number comes up as a GE cooktop please check it.
Sounds like the particles are getting past the pump filter, check that it fits OK and does not have any rips etc.
Also perhaps you are just leaving too much food on the dishes. |

I'm sorry the correct model number is GU2475XTVY. Could it be a faulty check valve causes the chopper to clog? Where in the dishwasher is the checkvalve?
