I need to change the lid switch on my mother inlaw's whirlpool washer/dreyer combination unit. If possible can anyone tell me what the steps are and are there any pictures if not that;s OK thank you

Michael,

In order to access the washer lid switch you have to remove the washer front panel. The instructions are attached to the reply.

Hi,
Where do I connect the green wire near the actual switch? I put the circular one under a bolt but I'm not sure where the other one connects to. When I took the old lid switch off, that part wasn't connected to anything. thank you.
