Hello, We have a Kitchenaid Refrigerator/Freezer #KSRS25FHSS03. My husband was trying to break up a large chunk of ice in the ice maker, and ended up breaking the ice striper. I found a replacement part in this website (AP3132762), and would like to find out whether this is something we can reinstall ourselves. We know where it goes, but not exactly how it fits into place. Any help is appreciated! Thanks, Michele

Thanks, Michele Michele, That's a repair you can probably perform without a lot of effort, To do it properly, You may want to remove the icemaker assembly from the freezer, Remove the control head cover(white plastic box) You'll find two screws located in the two recessed opennings, in the lower area of the control head. Loosen the screws, (you don't have to remove them) enough to dislocate the plastic tabs and remove the stripper panel from the assembly. Reverse procedure and re install the ice maker. Did you take care of the clump of ice in the icemaker ? :) :) :)
