Hello, I have been trying everything on this dishwasher, I removed whole unit cleaned all arms, tube that delivers water to middle and top arms, cleaned filters, I also removed pump and cleaned out everything as far was water delivery via pump, I also removed water fill valve and cleaned screen. By holding door open and pushing on door switch with it running the arms do not move, and then water level in bottom of tub seems low. I also checked and cleaned float it seems to work properly, and so dose everything else except for water not filling enough so I added a pitcher or two started it and watched, and the arms spin and seem to work right. So my question is what do you think would be preventing it from filling full my water pressure seems really good and the line or screen were not plugged, fill valve runs for about 70 secs then shuts off and pump comes on the water dose not even come to the float? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Here are your parts Replacement parts for General Electric PDW8200J03BB Dishwasher | AppliancePartsPros.comSo my question is what do you think would be preventing it from filling full my water pressure seems really good and the line or screen were not plugged, I would replace the water valve since everything else seems normal.\It could be it is not opening all the way. fill valve runs for about 70 secs then shuts off I am not sure about the above time but it does sound about right to me. and pump comes on the water dose not even come to the float? Not sure if you mean that it does not raise the float or get to the base of the float. It should not lift it as the float is just a safety device on most units. A normal fill level would be to just under the heating element. |
