Last night before bed I heard my LG dishwasher making a "never heard before" grinding noise. This morning my wife went to empty it and the left of the 2 blue lights was blinking.
She opened it up, didn't see any error codes, but there is standing water in the bottom of the tub.
Now the unit will not turn on, nothing.
- There is power to the unit. - Opened the door panel up, no wires that were broken (although I didn't check behind the black soundproofing - read elsewhere about 2 grey wires) - Have a feeling it is the pump. Have read they are a common problem with LG?
Any suggestions, repair guidance, ideas are greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance for your time and knowledge.

UPDATE:
I took of the door again and noticed when I turned on the unit there was a "Click" > 2 second delay > another "Click".
I unplugged a black square piece, (there is also a blue and white one just like it) and it disconnects all power as a red light on on the mother board goes off.
I am stumped as to what the problem is.....
Is my motherboard fried"
Really need some help.
