I need to replace the interior glass on my Kitchen Aid oven. Please provide instructions and guidance on how to go about this task. I have been told that the P/N for this part is AP3008062. Upon receiving your advice I will order the part. Please also indicate if I need any other parts to do this repair.

Best regards,

Alain

Whirpool 27" built in oven model RBS275PDB2 interior glass cracked. I'm ordering a new piece today. It doesn't look too difficult to replace from the diagrams--think all I have to do is unscrew the screws on the inside of the door and put the new piece in. Anyone else had this problem? Why did it crack in the first place? Nothing hit the glass or anything like that, it just happened while I was baking something.
