I am replacing AP4113926 Filter Assy, Secondary. During disassembly and cleaning I pulled a neopren gasket/o-ring.

Now during re-assembly I cannot see where the gasket belongs. It is approximately 7 1/2 inches in diameter. There is a circular channel in the Filter assy, which houses a plastic mesh filter, AP4112901. I thought maybe the gasket would seat in the channel but the channel diameter is 7 inches and obviously the gasket is too big to fit.

Finally, the mystery is that the gasket is not shown in any of the exploded parts views on the web catalog pages. I hate to throw it away!?

UPDATE: I found the gasket on the drawing for a different model. The gasket number is AP4113058
