My dishwasher all of the sudden has quit washing dishes. When turning the machine on it sounds like it is running normally and it is filling up with water, but once it's done the dishes aren't wet at all.

Yesterday I cleaned out filters and screens, checked the flow, and checked the intake valve. After doing all of the this I turned it on and it worked, so I let it run through a complete cycle empty! Today I turned on the washer with dishes inside and it's back to doing what it was before. I opened the dishwasher very quickly to take a peek inside and it appears that the spinner isn't shooting up at all!

HELP!

Mcgrif,

When you test ran the dishwasher, how much water was in the tub ?

I would reccomend you remove the water level float cover(in the left front corner of the tub) and check the float for free operation, it should move freely up and down, you should also here a click from the water level switch, as you manipulate the float.

You may also want to check the fill valve, I suspect a probable weak solenoid on the valve, or a clog in the debris screen, that you may want to try and clean out.

:) :) :)
