I have a hotpoint WT746 Ultimate washing machine and often all the LCD and LEDs start flashing. sometimes this happens when I first turn it on. sometimes it turns on fine but starts flashing intermitently during the cycle. Either way, when flashing I can't really control it. I can sometimes make it start the cycle but not change any options.

any idea if this sounds like a damaged front display or computer?
