My Kenmore sided by side warmed up to the point of the ice maker totally thawing today. I messed with the temp control and unit came back on but stayed at about 49 degrees .A few minutes ago I pulled out fridge and pulled back cardboard panel off .Immediately noticed that the harmess that plugs onto the (run) capicitor was cocked sideways and one connector was off--(don't know why) Would this stop the compressor from cooling??

Test the compressor as described in one of our previous threads: http://forum.appliancepartspros...not-cool.html#post281680 and post the results.
