Our dishwasher is not draining corretly, though we are able to run it without it overflowing.
I ran an empty cycle on quick wash with no results and removed the screen and gray filter drain "food catcher?" to check for plugged debris and did not find anything.
Not sure what else to check for or I need to call a repair person.
thanks for you input,

Betsy

Hi Betsy,

Check the air gap (on top of the sink) for a clog. Remove the drain hose from the air gap or from the garbage disposer if there is no air gap, put it in a bucket, run the drain cycle and see how it drains. Post the results.

Gene.
P.S. If the garbage disposer has been replaced recently then the problem is there due to improper installation (the plug for the dishwasher drain has not been removed).

GENE,
You were right. I had not removed the dishwasher drain plug.
