Here are your parts Replacement parts for AMANA ARS2665AC REF - SXS/I&W | AppliancePartsPros.comTo get at the condenser coils you will have to pull the unit away from the wall and remove the back cover. If the unit has a front kick plate it should unsnap to come off, should show you in your operators manual. Unplug the unit when working on it. Clean the condenser coils, the grills and the condenser fan blade etc.. Check to be sure the condenser fan is running. If this does not solve your problem you will have to do more trouble shooting. Is the compressor cycling or always on? Remove the cover is the freezer so you can see the evaporator coils. Are they heavily frosted/iced over? If yes you probably have a defrost problem. If the compressor is running and the coils have no frost or only frost in one area (usually where the freon enters the coils) you have a sealed ystem problem. Here is a good site with basic fridge troubleshooting/repair info. http://www.applianceaid.com/frig.html |
