I have a four burner drop in magic chef RV range and oven. It is the older type with no pilot for the upper burners and a gas pilot for the oven. Year of manufacture around 1985, 1986.

Since I last changed the fuel tank the upper burners tend to pulse when the burners are set to less than full high temperature setting.
Also and the most important, the oven will not light. The pilot operates nominally but the burner either will not light at all or will light and then go out withour reaching temperature.

Do you think the issues are related and if so do you think I may have damaged the regulator when changing the tank. I am very careful in this proceedure.

Thank you for any help.

It's possible the regulator is just going bad, they do that occasionally.
