I have a Kenmore (model 106.56876600) with a door dispenser for ice and water. Water is working fine and The ice maker is making ice with no problem, but the door dispenser is not working. There is no ice clog (checked for that first).

I removed the ice tray and chute, and checked the dispenser motor. It is still spinning at the motor. However, when I checked the ice auger with the ice tray completely empty, the auger is not spinning. So I guess this could mean that the connection between the dispenser motor and the removable chute is "stripped" and its making the auger not spin, or else the motor isn't "strong enough" to turn the ice auger with a full load of ice in the tray.

Any help is greatly appreciated (on parts to check/replace, or other things to try or troubleshoot).

Thanks!
