I recently bought a rebuilt Magic Chef clock assembly 6498xts. The package has a warning label that says "Static sensitive contents, special handling required". However, there is no instructions regarding what special handling is required. Can you tell what this warning means?

Thank you

Ed,

In your case, you can pretty much disregard that notice,

Just don't touch any of the "foil tracers", you can't anyway.

Whoever re built the control probably inserts that warning in all their packages.

It pertains more to printed circuit boards for computers and microwaves, etc. it requires that the handler be "grounded" using a wrap strap, you need not worry.

Happy New Year
