My Frigidaire Imperial Cold Pantry is in the cellar of the heated basement, and has been working great for many years as the beer keg frig. It gets cooler in the cellar area in the winter time, maybe 40 - 50 degrees, and the refrigerator part of the unit starts to go below 30 degrees, freezing the beer. The lower freezer is extremely cold. The settings on the thermostat are Off, B, A, 1, 2, 3. What is the warmest setting? I usually have the setting at 2 or 1 but it doesn't seem to make a difference with the refrigerator tempature. I placed a small fan (on a low setting) in the refrigerator last night, in the case that the air needs better circulation to kick the compressor off, and the tempature dropped another couple degrees. Should I consider defrosting the frig and starting it up again in the case there is some ice trouble somewhere in the thermostat control? I don't know what to do next... I live in Berwyn, IL

Bob, Thanks for the message. I will send you an email with more info. I sure would appreciate the help with finding the thermostat and a Chicago HVAC service that would make the repair. Jim
