Walked into the kitchen one day and all the lights on my dishwasher were flickering. Open and closed the door a couple times and it wouldn't stop so I flipped the breaker switch. Now it won't work at all. If I push any cycle, the normal buttons will light but it does nothing. On a rare occasion, it will sound like it's filling with water for a brief moment but never does anything from there.

A phone consult with an expert thought maybe it was in demo mode so he suggested I kill the power for at least 30 minutes. I left it off while I went to work but it still doesn't work.

Check the door switches and if there is nothing wrong then replace the control assembly.

- The part number for the control assembly is AP3491856

- The part number for the door latch assembly (including the switches) is AP404028
