My Bosch DW would not get past the primary drain cycle. After pulling the side panel off I discovered the float was stuck with sludge. After cleaning this out the DW operated flawlessly except it is now significantly louder during drain sequence. The filters have always been installed correctly as per manual, no debris. Any thoughts?

Hi Peter, One of possibilities is a foreign object inside the drain pump or the drain line. You have to remove the drain pimp to check everything. Here are the break down diagrams for the Bosch dishwasher Model SHU43C06 UC/14 (FD 8211-)Gene.

Gene- Thanks for the reply. I suspect I can gain access to the drain pump via the inside of the unit?

Peter, You can access it from the front, after the toe panel removed. You can find the instructions in the file attached bellow. Gene.
