Full of Christmas dinner dishes and NOW it decides to act up! Water drains fine but no water for wash or rinse. Pump sounds like it's running smoothly, water supply more than adequate. Any help would surely be appreciated.

I tried manipulating the red plastic shaft and it shut the pump on and off. I guess that's what it's supposed to do. Might there be an inlet filter of some sort that could be clogged?

Have you tried another cycle choice besides regular wash? At the least, that might tell you if you have a functional water valve. Admittedly, discovering an electronic control issue would not be ideal . . . Best of luck!

Thanks Tuscon. Yeah, I tried other cycles with the same result. Everything I've read so far points to the water valve so I've removed it and will order and install a new one. Keeping my wrinkled (from hand washing dishes) fingers crossed. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
