Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 12/23/2010(UTC) Posts: 1		We have an older GE electric range that the oven temp seems to be on high all the time, no matter where you set the temp dial. The red light that goes out when the oven reaches the set temp doesn't ever go out. Any idea's what can cause this and the cost of the part to repair? Thanks

If the unit uses an electronic timer/control then the oven sensor may be your problem. Here is a good site with info on how to check it.
