Cold water valve blew off inlet valve assembly, wetting the control assembly circuit board. Replaced inlet valve a few days later. The entire area seemed to be dry at that time. The only thing that shows any sign of life now are the 4 led lights on the right side of the panel. They will blink very faintly (6 min, Rinse, Drain & final spin) regardless of the settings. I then removed the control assembly circuit boards and found that there are numerous areas where the board and various componets have been exposed to water. Many areas are tarnished green in the same fashion as a corroded battery terminal. Would it be worth taking the time to clean the board and corroded components or should I just buy a new control assembly.

If cleaning the assembly is feasible, any sugestions as what to use or not to use on the circuit board and various components.

Odds are very high that you will need a new control board.
Once power is applied when the board is wet/damp it usually blows some components.

You could try cleaning it with electronics contact cleaner or isopropyl alcohol and a brush. In this case contact cleaner would be preferred.
Clean gently with a toothbrush.
Be sure that all the solvent is evaporated before reinstalling.
Once cleaned heat the board up with a hair dryer, then let it cool then do this several times.

Also check/clean the plugs/wiring that attach to the board.
You should do this even if you decide to just purchase a new board.
