Sounds like a jet engine when it is on high speed spin. Sounds like a bearing I just don't know which one, any ideas?

Most likely the problem is a bad rear bearing. It was the most common problem for Neptune washers for many years.

Maytag does not sell this bearing separate. It comes as a part of the outer tub assembly and is very expensive. Some people found the way on how to replace just the bearing but this job requires some special skills and tools.
