My kenmore 90 series washer spins but won't agitate. You can't turn it either way by hand. When the tub spins clothes get caught in the agitator causing it not to spin unless you take some out and move them away from agitor to sides of tub. Agitator does not spin in spin mode. Coupling is fine. What could b the problem? The washer is a direct drive. MODEL # 110.22922100

It Agitates A Little Back N Forth Clockwise And Back Conterclockwise Less Than A Quarter Turn. It Won't Spin When Tub Spins. My girlfriend washed some heavy rugs n its been doing it ever since.

Thanks for the tip. I will try that and see if it works. I have them out and gonna replace them, but I didn't realize that would cause the bottom agitator to not spin in spin mode.

Did you check the coupler between the motor and the pump?
