I had a problem with my duet front loader the drum always did not stay balance and damage the front outter tub I was told the bearings are bad and you have to replace the rear outter tub ,,,,,not a problem but what I don't know is how many foot pounds I need to set the drum in the rear tub to make sure it is set in the bearings and seals correctly help I got five teenage :eek: girls

I was looking for that info too cant find it. i just did that job twice but what i can tell you when you do the outer drum change the basket too when the berring goes bad the brace that supports the basket cracks you cant see it untill it rips the plastic up on the front part of the outer drum. when you tighten the bolt tighten it untill the basket dont move up and down use lock tight. (i dont spell too good) i hope this helps you.
