Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 11/21/2008(UTC) Posts: 3		I just installed a new motor on my dryer. When I press the start button it starts fine but I can't release the start button or it shuts off. In other words, it only runs while the start button is held on. Thanks

Why did you replace the motor in the first place? Could be the centrifugal switch is wired incorrectly or a timer contact.

Bearings, rollers and idler all good. Now sounds great on start up, quiet while running, I just can't release the start button. Thanks Mike
