The water dept was here yesterday checking the meter. We had air in the pipes after, but all seemed okay. When I started the dishwasher, it made noise and I thought it was okay but after a while I noticed it sounded a little different. I opened it and realized that it was hot but there was no water in it. I cancelled the cycle and have since tried it a few more times with no luck. I poured some water in it and it drained fine. Could this have something to do with it resetting b/c air in the pipes or something? Thanks for the help!!!

Yes it may be connected, pretty big coincidence if it isn't but stranger things have happened.
Remove the kick plate and check to see if the water inlet valve is getting voltage when it should. Remove the wires from the valve and check if it has continuity.
If OK loosen the inlet side connection on the water valve till it starts to drip. Then tighten it back up and give it a try.
If still no go remove the water valve and check that the inlet screen filter in the valve is clean. Especially if you have noticed another tap etc. is not working OK now. perhaps the water dept. knocked some crud loose from the pipes. |

The model number will be on the dishwasher itself, open the door and look around the frame.
