Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 8/12/2007(UTC) Posts: 2		My side-by-side Frigidaire refrigerator has a freezer that stopped freezing. It makes a high pictched squeak which happened more frequently after adjusting the thermostat (colder). Suggestions?

Also is the compressor running? Is it cycling? Is the condenser fan running? I would start with the evaporator fan in the freezer section. Perhaps it is running very slow or intermittent and is not pulling air through the evaporator coils to cool it.
