Hello,
My washing machine just started making a loud roaring noise while in the spin cycle. I have been searching for parts and have 3 part numbers that may be the problem, however, I am not sure if this is all I need or if I need only need 1 of the 3. They are as follows:

AP4049019 Main Bearing

AP4253981 Kit, Hub, & Seal

AP4047999 Bearing Upper/Lower

If there are any other parts I may need, or if one has any tips, suggestions/reccomendations, please feel free to chime in.

Last, do I need any specialty tools to do this repair?

Thanks and happy holidays.

Those parts should do it, and there will be detailed instructions with the seal kit. Be sure and follow them exactly.

Given the difficulty of this repair, the cost of parts and the age of the machine I think you should seriously consider replacing it. You can get a new, basic top loader for less than $300 in our area.
