Dear AppliancePartsPros:
Whirlpool Double Oven model RBD306PDB9

The blower fan developed excessive clattering/noise. This was the result of the power grid going down during the oven's self-cleaning cool-down phase. After this incident, the oven worked for a few month, albeit with the blower fan having the clattering/noise once it heated up. Last week, during use of the oven, the blower fan quit. The oven still would heat,, but the blower would not come on when the oven was turned on. I replaced the blower fan and properly reconnected the 2 wire leads to the fan terminals.

Upon replacing the fan, I started the oven, but the blower fan will not engage. The oven light heating element, clock and control panel all work properly, except the fan will not work.

Does this require a replacement of the thermal fuse? If not, do you think it may be the thermostat, transformer, suppressor, or one of the several switches in the oven door latch assembly?

Many thanks for your assist.
