i have a GE jgbp85sej1ss and the temp is not getting past 400 degree.What could be wrong..Thanks

Does the flame stay on at this point?

If the flame is off, would the igniter glow?

Sounds to me like you've either got a heat leak somewhere or there's a problem with the thermometer. Is it cold where you are? You should probably hire a professional because messing around with a range like this can be pretty dangerous. I usually tell people to go to town trying to fix their own cooling systems, but heating is a bit trickier and more dangerous. Good luck.
