The DW started gettting loud a few months back - replaced the check valve and chopper assembly to no avail. Last couple days, DW was quieter and still worked - last night it gave up the ghost.

The question I have is that posts have made reference to replacing the motor/pump assembly - AP3778061 - how confident should I be that will fix it? Also seen notes about having to replace a seal - should I order a seal/gasket as well? part No?

A new pump & motor would take care of the noise but I do recommend a new seal part # AP3039162.

Here's the breakdown on your unit Model GU1500XTLS3
