Fan motor works fine for settings 1,2 and 4... but not 3. Any ideas? Please see attachment for diagram. Does anyone have a schematic?

Thanks

Bob,

The model number you posted does not come up. The closest model number I found is MH3184XPS0 and the following instructions are for this model number. Verify the model number and if it is different, disregard all these instructions.

Unplug microwave oven or disconnect power.
Remove wire leads.
Measure resistance (ohmmeter scale: Rx1):

High Speed—Normal:
Red (R) and Blue (BU) wires:
79-119 ohms (approximate)
Blue (BU) and Black (BK) wires:
22-43 ohms (approximate)

Low Speed—Normal:
Red (R) and Blue (BU) wires:
79-119 ohms (approximate)
Blue (BU) and White (W) wires:
43-62 ohms (approximate)

If any of the readings is incorrect, replace the motor.

If the readings are good, replace the control board.

- The exhaust motor Part number: AP3967931

Gene,

Was the line (I highlighted in red), in the low speed duplicated from the high speed specs.... What about the yellow wire to blue? Also - on the control panel... Voltage for #3, is 110 and the rest are 122?

Thanks so much,

Bob
