The dishwasher hangs prior to the final rinse cycle with the Temp Boost Sensor on. If the sensor is off, the dishwasher will run a complete cycle normally. I have replaced the timer but that did not solve the problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thats normal because its heating water and depending on how hot the water coming out of hot water tank and the temp enetering machine will determine how long machine stalls remember water is just trickling on element not like setting a pot of water on the stove and boiling it. I would say it's working as designed

You said it hangs but did not say for how long.

Here is a service manual which should help
http://www.servicematters.com/m...ibrary/docs/16007823.pdf

Check that you are getting the correct water level Page 3-31
Could be it is just low and the water is not heating correctly. Most likely cause of this would be a partially clogged screen filter on the inlet valve.

Could also be a bad sensor Page 2-22

OR as V2K04 said it may be normal operation.

Denman,

In answer to your question, it hangs forever.

However, I was able to solve the problem. It turns out that one of the connectors to a thermostat was disconnected. The service manual was a big help in identifing the problem. Thanks for your help.
