Dryer starts on its own when you select a cycle for your clothes to dry. You do not even get to touch the Start Knob to turn the dryer on. You must make sure the dryer is in the off position when the dryer is not in use or the dryer will run with no clothes in it. I replaced the Start Switch with a new Start Switch part from your site. Now I have to hold the Start Knob on for the dryer to run. I was sent a replacement part but it did the same thing. I have to hold the Start Knob on for the dryer to run. Please Help. Thank you.

This now suggest a problem with the motor, and given the very low prices of new dryers, if that is the problem I suggest replacement.
