Moved range during kitchen renovation and reattached door. Unsure if door was perfectly attached so we pressed the door lock button (which we had never used before) on keypad. It locked fine and my wife set the time on the clock and all was right with the world... not. My wife asked "how do you unlock the door?" "Do the lock sequence over again," I said, reading from the instructions. It would not unlock when we pressed the door lock button again (for 30+ seconds) and we got an F9 error code. We tried the clear/off button to reset the system and also tried re-doing the unlock sequence. Display keeps flashing "Door Locked". Door latch would spin around clockwise without stopping. Tried several times "rebooting" by shutting off whole thing with circuit breaker, last time sitting off overnight. Cannot set time or do anything else with the oven. Now we keep getting F1 error code, and display showing "Door Locked" and the door lock "latch" keeps rotating the whole time. We can open and close the oven door by waiting for the latch to rotate to the correct posisiton, but that doesn't help because the oven won't work and we get the F1 error code. We don't get the F9 anymore, just the F1. But the door latch motor keeps merrily turning the latch around and around.

By searching the Forum it seems that F1 usually means replace the whole EOC display/keypad, but might there be a problem with the lock and not the keypad, or a problem with both items? If so, is there a way to check the lock mechanism?

Thanks for any help you can offer. Wife is none too happy with me for suggesting to use the door lock. "Everything was fine until...."
