I have an electric 50 gal water heater that seems to go into fits switching the relays on and off 10 or 20 times particularly after someone has taken a shower. I am inclined to replace the controller board on the assumption that it has lost the ability to have hysteresis. Is this the correct approach or is it possibly a bad thermal sensor? Sold as a Whirlpool, this is a US/Craftmaster EE2H50RD045V. Much thanks in advance
