It seems to not be getting enough power. Just moved to an old house. The 3 prong plug was used at the last new home we were in. The breaker is 50 amps and the wire has an orange casing. What is the problem?

I would first measure voltage into the stove while everything is turned on. If voltage way below 230 volts, you probably have a burnt wire in the wall outlet, or a burnt wire inside the house fuse box. Good voltage at stove connector means you have a burnt wire in the stove.
