The washer fills and goes through the wash cycle but will not drain or spin. When manually turning the timer to spin it does nothing. The drain hoses are clear. The only thing odd that I noticed was the lid switch is always down and the belt looks loose and twisted. Please advise.

That's where, I would start you, The switch circuit will allow the washer to fill and wash, but it will not allow a spin / drain, if it's bad. Where is this loose, twisted belt located ? You have a "Direct Drive" washer(going by the model number you supplied) It has no drive belt, I'm wonderring if it may be the wiring harness for the lid switch assembly ?? Thanks and Good Luck, :) :) :)
