I need to replace the oven heating element on a Hotpoint Oven Model RH960G. Its more than 10 years old but other than the heating element it works great. Wondering if anyone could help me with directions and a part #. Thanx for the help

Here are your parts Replacement parts for RH960G models | AppliancePartsPros.comIt will be either 650 or 651 in Section 2 depending which element you need. Unplug or remove power from the unit. This is very important because many units still have power to one side of the element even when the element is turned off. Remove the screw which holds the element to the back of the oven. Gently pull the element into the oven. Remove the wires from the element and install the new element. It is a good idea to clip something (clothespin etc.) onto the wires so that they do not disappear into the back of the unit before you get them attached to the new element. |
