I have a whilpool side by side frost free frige 8yrs old. My food seems to get freezer burned......ice crystals build up/forms on food. Any thoughts? Temp in fridge and freezer are set on suggested setting and seem to be normal.

Measure the temperature in the freezer and set it higher if it's bellow 0°F. Do not keep the door open longer than it is necessary. Check if the door seal is not broken.

Stick a dollar bill between the door gasket and frame and check if you can pull it out easily, if so, you have bad door gaskets.
